I’m so excited to be able to finally show you these images. Sleeping Wings is a brand new baby sleeping product. I have been working with Shae for the past few months and now the product has been launched. We did the photo shoot back in April and had a great day with 10 gorgeous babies and mums.
Congratulations Shae, your dreams are coming true.
Head over to the Sleepy Wings website and check out this fantastic new product, and of course all my gorgeous images.
How Did Sleepy Wings Evolve?
Australian designed
Shae – mum with 2
Getting up to replace a baby’s lost dummy at night can be very tiring. Unfortunately it is not until they are eight months old when most babies learn to manage their own dummy during the night
I designed Sleepy WingsTM in the early hours of the morning when I would lie awake waiting for the next attendance cry from my 2nd baby Alannah, to replace her dummy again.
There just had to be a way to teach Alannah to find her own dummy.”
After several homemade prototypes, and endless hours of web searching, it became apparent that there was no such garment design that simply allows an infant to replace their own dummy within head turn reach, prevent scratching AND keep those wondering hands under control whilst milk feeding!
What is Sleepy Wings?
Sleepy WingsTM is an infant slumber wear jacket, designed to mimic the swaddling method of wrapping, however, without the excess layers making Sleepy WingsTM ideal for all seasons Sleepy WingsTM provides parents an alternative aid to assist their baby’s sleep, feed and scratching habits in the first 6 months when a baby has little control of their own limbs.
Slept safely on their back, a baby’s natural sleep position is to have their arms bent at the elbows, with hands up beside their face. Without restricting this position, Sleepy WingsTM allows a baby to comfort themselves with access to their mouth to self console.
The unique single opening is the arm hole for both left and right arms. This ribbed opening stretches to provide a snug and secure fit for a baby from birth up to 8kgs in weight.

And I’m supper excited that my images are also gracing the gorgeous Sleepy Wings packaging.

Sleepy Wings also has these gorgeous Clippie Wings

And aren’t these Sleepy Wings dolls just adorable.

Well plans are well under way for Annika’s 4th birthday party. This year its an Angelina Ballerina theme. She’s been talking about her party for months now. Here are some images from the little shoot we did for her invitation and of course the invitation itself.
These are so pretty I can’t stop looking at them.

And here’s the invitation, it a folded greeting card.

What a fun session this was. These guys had me in stitches. Ethan and Mikayla and twins then there’s cheeky Oliver and gorgeous little Lachlan. What a fantastic family.
Ethan and Mikayla are twins and their mum as asked my to have a special photo day for the Multiple Births Association. How much fun is that going to be. Can’t wait.

How beautiful are these three sisters? They are divine and a joy to photograph. We had so much fun at the session, having a tea party and all. Kina and Tony, you have a gorgeous family, you should be very proud.

Here are some fab pics from the Cheeky Chickies shoot. What a great day, 13 kids and 1 dog LOL. Congrats Deni on such a gorgeous range.
You can check out the entire Cheeky Chickies range at www.CheekyChickies.com.au
The fantastic monsters we used in the shoot are lovingly handmade, in the Illawarra, by the gorgeous Jackie at Cushy Monsters.

My sister gave the girls these super cute bee outfits. Today my little buzzy bees did a little concert for me. Using the studio as a little stage. Too, too cute.
Love you gorgeous girls.

I had the pleasure of photographing 8 day old Jett. What a delight he was. He can come round any day. And big sister Lexi is just so sweet, the perfect big sister.
Jett has the most amazing blond (almost white) hair, I’ve never seen a baby with such beautiful hair.

Good Afternoon My Lovelies,
Well here is the long awaited part 2 of Cianna’s party.
I thought I should give you a run down of where I bought all the bits and pieces.
Large candy jars are from Target
Small candy jars from Brown Button Trading
Doll graphic from ClipArt Store om Etsy
Bottle and pram cookie cutters from Little Betsy Baker
The girls’ dresses (and matching doll’s dress) were made by my mum.
My mum also made the fabric bunting.
Musk sticks from Cooks Confectionery 1/8 Durgadin Dr Albion Park Rail NSW 2527 (02) 4257 9444. So glad I found this place they have lollies by the kilo, so much cheaper than buying at the supermarket.
Balloons from All Things Party at Yallah
Pink jelly beans (in large candy jars) from Wally’s Lollies
Treat bags, ribbon and musk stick bags from Packaging Direct North Wollongong
Cianna and Annika’s hair clips from Little Moos
And I made the party hats, musk stick packaging, bag tags, popcorn boxes, cupcake toppers, cupcakes, birthday cake, meringues, heart shortbreads with pink sugar.
For the drink bottles I bought pop tops from Woolies, poured the juice out (the girls drank that), washed them out then filled them with pink cordial. Then made labels, printed on paper and attached them to the pop tops with contact. I attached the labels one night while watching Schindler’s List (its a rather tedious task LOL). So I was bawling my eyes out from the movie and trying to see where to line up the labels.
